In Local Government, we strive to engage with residents of all ages across our communities. We value the voices and opinions of young people in Council decision making and recognise that young people aged 18 to 25 years, are under represented across our engagements.

As part of the LG Professionals SA Emerging Leaders research project, a group of six LG staff from different councils across SA, are researching what local government can do to improve how we engage with young people, especially those aged 18-25.

The group would like to find out what you would like to know more about, what's important to you and what local council's can do to include more young people aged 18-25 in future decision-making.
