What's happening

We are seeking feedback from local residents, on the proposed location for a new public toilet building at Ferryden Park Reserve.

In 2020, we adopted our Public Toilet Plan to ensure that clean, safe, accessible toilets are available for people to use in the most popular and public places across our city. This includes the Ferryden Park Reserve, which is popular with players of soccer and cricket and is used by families and local residents accessing the playground, basketball halfcourt and open reserve. As part of our Annual Business Plan 2024–25, we have therefore allocated a budget towards constructing a new toilet at the reserve.

The location we are proposing will benefit users and the general community in the following ways:

  • It improves toilet access for everyone who uses the reserve
  • It is near the playground
  • It is close to other amenities within the reserve (BBQ and picnic area)
  • It is located in a highly visible area that many people use

Share your feedback by completing the feedback form below or contact us to request a hardcopy feedback form be sent to you.

Engagement is open until Sunday 24 November 2024.
