CAWRA was formed in early 2020 with a vision to achieve excellence in waste and recycling services across the Adelaide central and western suburbs, growing the circular economy through ethical and transparent management of kerbside recyclables.
At the request of its two member Councils, CAWRA has prepared a draft regional waste, recycling and circular economy strategy. The strategy is called ‘Going Circular to 2030’.
Once final, this strategy will guide the delivery and improvement of waste and recycling services and programs by both Councils and CAWRA from 2025 to 2030.
