The two existing playspaces in Harry Wierda Reserve have become aged and tired and require replacement. There is an opportunity to combine these two playspaces into one larger playspace that is centrally located in the reserve.

We will be consulting on and designing these playspace and reserve upgrades in 2020/2021 for construction in 2021/2022.

This reserve improvement has been identified in Council’s Active Recreation Facilities Plan, which guides open space and recreation outcomes for our community.

Consultation closes on 2nd October 2020.

This feedback will inform a concept design that will be presented to the community for further comment.
