Thank you to everyone who participated. having noted disability and mobility concerns, we have decided that number 21 Bus stop Churchill Rd (East side), Kilburn will remain where it is.

The bus shelter at Stop 21 Churchill Rd (east side) was removed to be renewed when we received a request from a resident to consider relocating the stop. Working with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, We undertook consultation with bus users on the proposed relocation, approximately 120m north of the existing location to improve bus stop spacing and access to recreation facilities.

The new location was considered as it will ensure no adjacent residents are negatively impacted, will provide a more central location with better spacing between stops to improve the catchment of users, will be situated closer to a pedestrian crossing, and community, and recreational facilities.

We will begin work to install the scheduled bus shelter replacement at the existing location.

We sought feedback from nearby residents and users most likely to be affected by the proposed relocation of Stop 21 Churchill Rd, Kilburn.

We received 14 responses through our online survey 10 responses supporting retaining the bust stop in its current location due to accessibility and convenience

The bus shelter at this stop located between Goodman Ave and Brunswick Ave requires replacement and during this process we received a request to relocate the stop due to current impacts on residents.

A new suitable location has been identified adjacent to Kilburn Sportsplex (approximately 120m north of the existing stop). The new location will:

• provide a more central location between alternative bus stops to improve catchment of users
• be located closer to a pedestrian crossing and community and recreational facilities.
• reduce negative impacts to adjacent residents

• Route 238-UniSA Mawson Lakes Campus to City
• Rout 239-Arndale Centre Interchange to City

Relocating the bus stop will mean stop 21 is more evenly spaced between stops 20 and 200 which are also shown on the map.
