Number 21 Bus stop Churchill Rd (East side), Kilburn is proposed for relocation.

We are seeking comment from neighbours and users most likely to be impacted by any changes to the location.

The bus shelter at this stop located between Goodman Ave and Brunswick Ave requires replacement and during this process we received a request to relocate the stop due to current impacts on residents.

A new suitable location has been identified adjacent to Kilburn Sportsplex (approximately 120m north of the existing stop). The new location will:

• provide a more central location between alternative bus stops to improve catchment of users
• be located closer to a pedestrian crossing and community and recreational facilities.
• reduce negative impacts to adjacent residents

• Rout 239-Arndale Centre Interchange to City

The map below shows the locations of the existing eastern side bus stop 21 on Churchill Road, Kilburn and the proposed new location approximately 120m north in front of the Kilburn Sportsplex.

Relocating the bus stop will mean stop 21 is more evenly spaced between stops 20 and 200 which are also shown on the map.
