At the ordinary Council meeting on 12 August 2025 Council has resolved to establish a new playground in McCarron Way Reserve following on from community consultation earlier this year.

Council received 110 responses.

Respondents requested several things, including recreational facilities, supporting amenities and various play features. They also raised concerns about, broadly, noise levels, security and safety, privacy, traffic and parking, and residential property value impacts.
