What's happening

Every year around the 22 September, cities across the globe celebrate World Car-Free Day, encouraging motorists to give up their cars for a day. The event highlights the numerous benefits of going car-free to citizens—including reduced air pollution and the promotion of walking and cycling in a safer environment.

This year, to celebrate World Car Free Day and promote alternative modes of travel within our community, we are conducting a simple Commute to Work and Study engagement where we're asking community members to share feedback about how you travel to and from work and study. We are seeking to better understand the travel behaviours of our community and what support we may be able to provide to encourage more people to try alternative modes of transport.
