Our new independent facilitator, Barbara Chapel, had a busy three hours getting to know working group members and revisiting where the group had finished at the end of Workshop 2. Barbara gave the group the challenge of working together to settle on potential rules for dogs on beaches and foreshore reserves, by the end of the workshop. Working group members split into subgroups and concentrated on proposed rules for:

• Foreshore reserves,
• Semaphore South to Breakwater beaches
• North Haven Beach

By 4pm, the group had come to agreement on the options they wanted to put forward to Council for endorsement for wider community engagement. We look forward to sharing these options with you after the Ordinary Council Meeting on 12 September 2023.
