Since workshop 2, the Dogs on Beaches Community Working Group independent facilitator, Becky Hirst, has advised us she is unable to continue with the project due to personal reasons.

We have engaged Barbara Chappell from Simply Speaking as our new independent facilitator.

Barbara has a wealth of experience in community engagement and facilitation with recent projects include being the facilitator for the Adelaide Brighton Cement Community Liaison Group and facilitating the LeFevre Peninsula Air Quality Monitoring Project Community Panel.

We have also taken on-board feedback that members of the group feel they need additional time in a workshop setting to explore options further together. Approval was sought from Council at the June Council meeting (see the report) for additional workshop(s) to be held with the group prior to options being presented for broader community engagement. A third workshop will be held in July.
