After a brief break, we have taken time to carefully consider and assess all the feedback received from last year's community engagement and now the project is set to resume with renewed energy. We are committed to getting this plan right for everyone and want to continue to work on the Semaphore Foreshore Master Plan to deliver this exciting project for the community.

We don’t have any new designs, just yet, but we want to create a revised Draft Master Plan that captures your community feedback and truly represents the heart and soul of Semaphore.

We will be working with the design team, key stakeholders and the community to review and develop the design you have already seen, but with the following 8 key areas in mind…..

Don't worry, your favourite features like the steam train, water play area and Kaurna storytelling will still be included in the revised draft plan.

We want you to be part of the decision-making process. Over the next six months, we’ll be providing various ways for you to share your thoughts on the changes and the revised Draft Master Plan to continue to help shape the future of our foreshore. Stay tuned for updates and milestones on the Participate PAE website and follow the project to receive the latest news (if you haven’t already!).

We want to get the plan right, but we need to balance the ideas from everyone! We will work to incorporate as many of the ideas and changes from the next round of consultation into the Final Master Plan. The Final Master Plan will be endorsed by Council in mid-2024, ensuring a world-class foreshore that celebrates its past while embracing the future. A timeless destination for all!
