A place for fantastic food, relaxing parks and thriving local business

The Parks and surrounds make up the geographical heart of PAE. The samphires, mud flats and mangrove forests provide a home to local and migratory birds in the Barker Inlet Wetlands. Meanwhile, groundwater drains through the wetlands into the estuary, offering an example of a successful effort to rehabilitate our state’s natural environment.

The area includes the State Sports Park in Gepps Cross, featuring the super-drome and other premier sporting venues. There is also the much-loved Makerspace in the Parks Library, which brings together people from diverse communities and from all walks of life to participate in creative activities and develop their artistic skills.

Get involved and help shape your Parks and surrounds area!
